As Stated

About

As Stated: independent scrutiny of published mathematical and theoretical claims. What was claimed. What was tested. What survived.

Purpose

As Stated investigates whether published theoretical claims follow from their stated assumptions. Sometimes a claim is false as stated; sometimes a proof has a gap or an assumption is missing and a repair exists; often the claim survives serious attempts to break it. All of these are recorded, claim by claim. Proofs are hard, and correcting them is part of scholarship. A record is not a verdict on the people who wrote the paper.

Disclosure

Human-led, AI-assisted, independent research. AI models are used for discovery and for separate rechecks. A defect is published only after a human check, and the researcher makes every editorial decision. As Stated is independent personal research. It is not conducted on behalf of any employer and is not affiliated with, commissioned by or endorsed by the journals, publishers or authors whose work is examined. Records are current assessments, not final authority.
